About Me

I'm a self-taught artist with a lifelong passion for drawing. My journey began in childhood, sitting alongside my mum with pencils and paints. Art was our way of connecting, a space filled with creativity, expression, and love.

When I started primary school, one of my subjects was art. My teacher quickly recognised my natural eye for detail and began entering my work into art competitions,  sometimes without me even knowing. These early experiences quietly shaped the path I would follow.

Although I stopped drawing for a few years in my early twenties, I returned to it in 2019 with a renewed focus and a deep desire to master realism. It became clear that art wasn’t just a skill or hobby, it was something essential to who I am. One day, something shifted, and my drawing improved dramatically overnight. Since then, I’ve been committed to pushing my boundaries, developing new techniques, and striving to reach the highest level possible. For me, drawing is more than creating , it’s a form of meditation.

My Creative Process

Every piece I create begins with inspiration. I need to feel emotionally connected to the subject before I begin. Once that connection is there, I seek out a reference image and begin planning the shades, techniques, and tools I’ll use.

Some works take up to 50 hours to complete, while others stretch over months. I never rush the process , I need peace in my soul and balance in my life to create authentically. Without that, the essence of the piece is lost.

Detailing is my favourite part of the process. I primarily work with charcoal and graphite, focusing on capturing emotion, realism, and depth. Once a piece is finished, I always take time to reflect on the journey, what I’ve learned, how it moved me emotionally, and what I’d do differently next time.

My Inspiration

I’m endlessly inspired by people , their strength, vulnerability, movement, and expression. The human body fascinates me: how one look, one pose, can tell a complete story. My work aims to capture that essence, portraying raw emotion, beauty, and resilience. There are no limits in art.
