Buddy was inspired by a small, vulnerable bird I found in need of help. Despite my best efforts and guidance from a wildlife trust, the little bird didn’t survive. I created this artwork to honour its memory and the brief but meaningful connection we shared.
Every detail of Buddy reflects care, compassion, and the fragile beauty of life. The bird resting gently on a hand symbolizes trust, kindness, and the quiet moments of connection we can share with the natural world.
